4 Action Tips
for Greater Energy and Positive Chi
Here are four easy Feng Shui
tips for your interior spaces so that you and your family
may experience better health, harmony and elimination of
negative chi!
A primary goal of Feng Shui is
to help you create the ideal environment to thrive in - be it
your home or place of business...or ideally, both!
Feng Shui
Tip #1 – The Front
Door to Your Dwelling or Office.
The front door to your home or
place of business is one of the key areas to consider when
employing Feng Shui actions.
Make sure the front door is in
good repair and working condition. If the door is worn looking
or old you should consider replacing it with a solid wood door
that promotes security and stability.
The front door is the conduit
whereby energy from the outside world enters your home or
office space. It is of extreme importance to allow good "chi"
to come into the structure.
This is where opportunity
"knocks" and money/wealth energy flows in. The door should not
be restricted in movement, and for best results all hardware
should function properly.
The area just as you enter the
space should be free of clutter and object that obstruct the
path and hinder the flow of positive energy coming in. The
objects act as stumbling blocks and are best organized
elsewhere or discarded.

Tip #2 – Maintain the
Peace of Your Bedroom.
The main bedroom of the home
is another crucial area of importance as is the bed within this
room. The bedroom is meant for quiet and repose and is ideally
a place of sanctuary where inhabitants can retreat to for
nightly rejuvenation.
Try not to use your bedroom as a
work place – the energy of work will linger in the room and
will not promote restful sleep. Remove uncalming influences
such as television sets and stereo systems from the room –
allow the bedroom to be the place it was intended to
be.
Feng Shui Tip #3 - Bring
Happy Life Into Your Space With Indoor Plants.
The energy and balance of this
room affects all other areas of the home. A home of office
space has good "chi" when a nice selection of healthy indoor
flowering plants are nurtured and thriving.
According to the Chinese “Book
of Odes” doorways adorned with magnolia flowers are especially
blessed! Magnolias are the symbol of female attractiveness and
a sweet demeanor.

Another plant highly regarded
in Feng Shui is the jade plant, often referred to as the "money
plant."
The leaves of the jade plant
(symbolic of abundance) are thick, green, lush and
succulent.
Feng Shui Tip #4 – Clearing of
Clutter is the Path to Liberation.
Clutter had the effect of
choking the home and stifling energy flows. It zaps energy in
countless ways!
Clutter has a way of keeping
us locked in the past and tied down. We become slaves to our
belongings over time – they dominate our spaces without our
realizing it and accumulate in often overlooked nooks and
crannies.
Even if clutter is unseen, it
still has a binding effect on the movement of positive energy
throughout our living spaces!
The way to deal with clutter
is to make a commitment to free yourself from owning no longer
useful items by releasing one room or area at a time. The
important thing is to not procrastinate on this – make a start
today or if not today, make an appointment with yourself this
week and determine your starting point.
If you do this, you will feel
the difference in your space and your energy! Be sure to
organize as you go – tidy up and make new homes for the items
that are taking up space in your life.
Make a promise to yourself
that you will become free from clutter and its negative effects
that block the abundance that is trying to find you.
