Feng Shui For Romance – Living and Loving
By Ling
Feng Shui for romance? Yes, it’s true that Feng Shui can enhance your romantic moments with that someone special!
Let’s see what we can do to ‘romanticize’ your immediate environment for love and intimate encounters. Isn’t it nice to know you can have just as much romantic fun at home, once you set the right atmosphere?
Here are four romance enhancers you can use tonight or for your next romantic encounter:
- Aromatherapy. Get in touch with your sensual self and help your lover become more amorous using the subtle nuances of scents that awaken passion and desire.
Have a nice selection of subtle and provocative aromatics on hand for romantic encounters. Think of these scents as tools for building desire and sensuality. Best advice – purchase pure essential oils only. Aphrodisiac choices include sandalwood, jasmine and patchouli. Natural botanicals have a way of taking away any hidden stresses and create the feelings you want to have with your lover.
- Allow a little breeze to blow. Unless you are in the middle of winter, make sure you have fresh air circulating in the room. This will help circulate your subtle aromatics and energize the space. If it is too cold for a window to be open, place a quiet fan in a corner to keep the Chi moving.
- Touches of romance colors. Be sure to add splashes of color that embody romance and sensuality. Make sure some red is present (a small heart shaped pillow will work!)…but not too much. Pinks and shades of white work well.
- Mood lighting. This is an obvious one, but something that should definitely not be overlooked. Candles are the most romantic – our personal favorites are made of soy, but original beeswax is also a good choice, albeit more expensive. Some candles are actually toxic – so you can imagine the energetic impact if you have those in your bedroom! Not to mention that the scents from these candles are often too “perfumy”.
