Feng Shui
Cures – a Beginning Discussion of Fascinating Ideas and
Traditions
When people think of Feng Shui cures, certain
traditional pictures often come to mind. Images of the
powerful Ba-Gua mirror placed carefully over the front entrance
of a home reflecting away negative Chi in one form or
another…or a prosperity stimulating fountain surrounded by
"living cures" of beautiful healthy plants and
flowers...attracting the entry of wealth and good
fortune!
Feng Shui offers solutions to a wide
variety of problems that each of us faces every day. The
goal of all Feng Shui cures is to offer workable and
practical solutions to a myriad of problems...physical,
emotional, spiritual and environmental.
One who practices Feng Shui mindfully will
change not only their working and living spaces,
but also their ‘inner’ spaces in order to achieve the
greatest lasting benefits.
In this article we’ll begin our discussion of
Feng Shui cures, as these solutions are commonly known. More
articles will be added to enhance this discussion as we grow
together in the wonderful knowledge and sharing of this
powerful ancient Chinese art and science.

Power Cures – Clearing Your Inner Most House
All good and lasting cures start from within!
This is true when overcoming any sort of illness…even illnesses
considered to be life threatening or catastrophic. If our
bodies are polluted and contaminated with toxins and subject to
poor nutrition and lack of exercise or sleep, disease is going
to be the natural outcome in due time.
When we take preventative measures to educate
ourselves and live a healthy physical, emotional and spiritual
life, we cut disease off at the pass and reflect it away…just
as the powerful Ba-Gau mirror strategically placed reflects
negativity away from our homes.
In order to be well and whole, we must give
ourselves the best chance that we can and do all of the things
we know are good for us.
People have recovered fully from serious
illness using powerful meditation techniques along with
vigorous toxin removal programs that cleanse the body at the
cellular level.
How much better then…to exercise prevention
before reaching a state of compromised health.
A
deeper understanding of Feng Shui encompasses the power of Feng
Shui principles as applied to the human physical, emotional and
spiritual condition. Begin by cleaning your “innermost house”
or temple.
As East inevitably meets West - the Bible
says that our bodies are temples and we are to think of them as
such. God’s spirit
resides within us…Chi flows within and through us in Eastern
thought.
In Feng Shui we breed and nurture negative
Chi when we do not take care of our physical bodies…our spirit
homes here on earth.
Likewise, when we harbor anger, resentments
and grudges we are carrying negative Chi and inviting more Feng
Shui problems into our lives.
One of the essences of Feng Shui is the
clearing away of inner clutter and negativity.
If we carry negative thought baggage around
day in and day out this impedes our progress and stunts our
growth to the point where any outward “mechanical” Feng Shui
cure is only a band aid solution at best.

Power Cures – The Clearing of Environmental
Clutter
Along with the inner Feng Shui cures for
lasting lifelong improvements, it is time to perform the
outward movements of clearing away the physical clutter of
immediate surroundings.
Doing this only reinforces your inner work as
your outer world begins to take shape and improve for the
better!
Clutter is especially problematic when it
blocks the front entryway of your home. In Feng Shui the front
door is a primary symbol and of greatest importance as positive
Chi energy flows into your home through the front
entryway.
One of the best things you can do for your
home right now is to make sure that your main entryway, foyer
and/or hallway leading in from the front door is free of
unwanted obstacles and detractors.
Clutter is a barrier to energy flow and good
things entering your space – it has the power to “choke” your
home and actually starve it from receiving vital positive Chi
nutrients!
A
brightly lit entryway is also important - even if you don't
have the light shining brightly all the time, just the fact
that it has the capacity to do so will foster more positive
energy in this area.
In future articles we’ll dig more
deeply into this fascinating topic of Feng Shui cures and
what we can do to strengthen our immediate
surroundings for better health, romance and flow of
opportunity, wealth and healthy
relationships.
